I’ve loved Tim Curry ever since I saw MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND at 5 years old. With rascally pirate charm, he meshed with the Muppets so perfectly, and lit up the screen with every smile. In a career of so many iconic roles, it will always be my favorite. Goddamn this hurts. RIP.

I’m speechless. Marjane Satrapi was such a gifted storyteller. Beyond her masterwork PERSEPOLIS, she made films like THE VOICES and CHICKEN WITH PLUMPS that were so specifically fantastical. Truly saddened by the news, but so thankful that I had the chance to interview her. RIP.
