I've worn Converse high-tops for about three decades, and I've learned a few things. One thing more than the rest has improved my life dramatically. If you're wearing Chucks, lace the penultimate (second-to-last) laces UNDER the tongue. It keeps the tongue from sliding around. Like this:

My very cool Converse laced as normal but with the second-to-last places going under the tongue. That's to say, laced as normal, then a set under the tongue, then a set over the tongue, and the laces from that last set are the ones you tie.

It'd be Hollywood level cool if all librarians banded together and just kept replacing the books on the shelves. If I were rich I'd fund the endeavor. Like, do they have people regularly checking the library for banned books? If so that seems like wasteful spending to me but I'm not a money doctor

Gotta get the tone right. I use my teacher voice. The one I use when a kid won't cut it out. Second offense gets something like "dude, cut it out" and if explanation is asked for the explanation is "you know why"
