Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Foolish rhetoric from Gilmore and her fans. You simply don’t understand that Carney is fighting a trade war for Canada, with the weapons we have. There will be casualties but c’est la guerre. Drink a little deeper. Go pick on Poilievre again. 010
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Fares are set by airlines not airports. Drink deep, Prof. 001
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026You’re foolish. Carney is making the right moves at the right time. It’s a new world order. He’s addressing climate change but acknowledging that fossil fuel is still needed … as it will be for a long time. Consumption isn’t going down, Prof. 101
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I dove to the ground to wait for the impact, thinking it was about to crash into the house. 010
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 07/09/2026A little heads-up on the flyover would have been nice. Almost dropped a load as it went over our house at a very low altitude. All is well with me, but I can’t find my wife. 111
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Americans love their “winners” no matter how unethical and corrupt. 011
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 22/07/2026You better hope the NDP can sell your vision. There’s always Poilievre, I guess. 200
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 22/07/2026You’ve adopted the Trumpian Method, I see. Just saying it’s so doesn’t make it true. Canada is third in the G7 in GDP per capital — and, yes, that makes a difference. Canada is also rated as the most stable economy. 220
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 22/07/2026Fair enough, but it increased the credit value. And you didn’t address CCB. All you anti-Liberal commentators are asking for very Liberal measures. How, exactly, would they reduce food prices without interfering, in a socialist way, in the mechanisms of the free market and supply chain economics? 100
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 22/07/2026I assume you’re not an economist and not a news reader. Carney introduced the CGEB (groceries) and the CCB (up to $8,000 per family to offset costs like …. groceries). What he didn’t do is try to intervene in supply chain price surges, which every country is facing. (Transportation, energy…) 210
Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 22/07/2026I tend to believe Carney sees a few steps ahead and is playing the long game, knowing it will all even out once a smarter Admin is installed. There’s no profit to be had for a long time to come. 150

Ian La Couvee @concentricpr.bsky.social · 18/06/2026That’s funny. I know one of his former players, who claims MT was a prick but somehow earned respect for his game sense, if not his humanity or compassion. 000
