Holmes lied to everyone about her work with Blood Testing, getting to the point she had 9 figure deals with the Military. People were given false positives on everything from cancer to AIDS, leading to some people dying. But she didn't go to jail for killing people, just ripping off the Government.

I re-watched it recently with my wife and we compared it to Odyssey, in that Cameron (like Nolan now) back then was using every trick in the 1991 playbook and using it at full power. It still feels epic and cinamatic in every scene.

Oh! A fellow fan. I love this series. I remember when I first saw a gameplay video of it, I simply thought "Impossible." until I got my hands on it. It's definitely a fascinating test of eye hand coordination and it has a great soundtrack. Recommend the sequel too!

Happy 40th to Metroid! I played the original way back in the day with my Dad. He worked at Thrifty Drug Store and bought me a copy. Later, he bought a giant graph foam board and started drawing out the map as I played. Many fond memories of this series.

I hated actually liking Leto as Skeletor. I thought he played his role just fine in Tron: Ares, but it felt like a role another actor could’ve filled. Skeletor though he seemed wholly perfect for and nearly irreplaceable. Not sure if it was him or the animators on his expressions, but he was great.

I was really disappointed by this, it was very confusing what area to go to next. The last scientist is by the stoplight puzzle? I also thought it a bummer he gives you a coupon for merch but there was no Resident Evil merch. I did go the first day it opened. Maybe the worked out the bugs.

The Odyssey, Backrooms, and Obsession have proven audiences have matured and really are not connecting with corporate slop. I worry about how this film will perform in 2026. That being said, this feels like McDonald's bringing back the McRib. Once in a while, slop is fun.
