About a week ago I gave my wife my Favorite Book Ever to read. I’ve never lent out or even really spoken about the Book to anyone and not only did she love it but she’s told anyone who’s asked for book recs to read it. Today she gave me a ring modeled after the engagement ring in the book.

My wife’s senior cat is refusing to eat any food after an emergency vet visit and even the vet is getting worried. I’m not a praying person but ffs I hope he eats tonight, or else we’re back to the vet and I KNOW we can’t afford surgery. I hate this place so gd much.

There is something so deeply enraging and funny about our cat, Loki, being the best escape artist in the home. We didn't even name him that, he came with the name Loki, and he is the ONLY CAT who is collared and belled and can still vanish and wind up outside and UNDER the house. HOW.

X/Twitter has officially added a single button that appears on EVERY image that allows users to have Gen AI change the original image in real time with prompts and then download the modified image, allowing users to blatantly mildly edit (plagiarize) artist's work & or potentially doctor photographs

X (Twitter) has been updated so that you can "click" once to AI-edit images posted there, and from a creator's perspective, this is really the worst. It's a huge problem because it's equivalent to using AI to do secondary retouching on images

I use Vivaldi, which is an early chromium fork, if you're looking for a replacement that's good. You can change almost everything, even right click menus. It can use Chrome add-ons but also has native adblockers which work very well. No ads, no AI, no bullshit 😌
