After being one of the worst note takers in high school I've become one of the best note takers in the union local. Rather proud to be almost done with this legal pad that I started mid June

A nearly spent legal pad, shown from the side. The used pages bend upward.

good god I figured out who I think this haircut makes me look like.

Mike, the dad from the sitcom The Middle. He's a middle-aged white man with short straight hair.

the Vigs chapter covers make me feel SO much idk. maybe I would do more OC art if I tried to mimic chapter/manga covers yk. I love this

The cover for Chapter 54 of MHA Vigilantes. It features Shoko Haimawari's worried face, Chris shielding Koichi as they plummet to the ground, Naomasa Tsukauchi giving some kind of orders, and various heroes and FeatherHats members are also featured. It's stylized like a movie poster, various characters all rendered at different sizes.

I think I posted this a week or two when I watched the movie, I'm not patient enough to dig it up though

Starting a 1- or 2-page comic, unsure if it'll get finished

A pen drawing with scant pencil lines underneath it. It's a close-up of a door opening. We view the doorknob and some minor wear around the latch. You can see a little out into the hallway i.e. a door across the hall, the front door of another apartment. A narration box says, "It's like..."

I recruited them to help me prepare for my trip and honestly, not a moment too soon 😮‍💨 Extremely good stuff check the leftovers out!!!!!

A pad of paper illustrated as Tenya and Tensei gesturing to a whiteboard. Tensei is gesturing in front of it, Tenya smacks the whiteboard's surface for emphasis, so hard that it sends most of the dry erase markers toppling. I've hand written a list of tasks to do on the paper, like "dye Rafi's hair" and "make sure there is spare kitty litter."

A critter much like the one from the previous comment, but with slightly different markings and wearing brighter colors, a blue skirt and red capelet with a crown of flowers.

What if someone was created by the worst person/people in the world. The person/people who are ruining your life, even. you didn't ask for it or have anything to do with it And what if creating this person to be obsessed with you, and with being accepted by you, was part of the violation

What if you were created in relation to someone (it's your entire purpose!) and the manner in which you were created for them is that you are imposed on them Maybe they even would have liked you, if they met you in a context where they didn't have to be The thing you were created for

Got to draw during the beginning part of a work training class today and I'm happy about it; these are in the reverse order that I drew them in and I feel like you can tell

started to imagine a universe where the statues shown at the end of BNHA are riffing on this, with Izuku's hand offered. I think Izuku would be filled with periodic violent vandalism urges when he sees it

Bronze statue commemorating a chain of people saving a dog from a river. The people are holding each others hands in a chain and pulling each other up the cement riverbank. The person at the bottom is holding the collar of the dog they're rescuing. The person at the top of the statue has their hand outstretched, so that visitors to the statue can be the final person who symbolically completes the chain and pulls the people and dog out.

I forgot about everyone having a thinking-about-life-heavystyle-in-their-bedroom portrait in the S4 credits...... corn plating for a minute, but I really like that Tenya hasn't set his glasses aside. he's like "I just need a minute" and you know it's been two hours

Break/lunchtime drawings I've been really, really pleased with recently (July 23rd, August 12th, respectively):

A sketch in black pen of a metal sink faucet, with a drain strainer and sponge off to one side. There's been an effort to shade the metal and how light hits it. Sketch is in a palm-sized lined notebook.

remember when I was doing random venn diagrams by request? that was fun. I'd do more of these. does anyone have characters they'd like venn'd

A Venn diagram between Suguru Geto, Stain, and Tenya Iida.

Center section says:

Step 1: I think that the way the governing body of my universe works is morally correct, and here's why!
Step 2: Oh god. This sucks actually.
Step 3: I will do at least one murder about it.

Obviously I can't do any of this without my fancy little outfits.

No heterosexual explanation for this.

Geto section says:
Step 4 was genocide for some reason.
single father.
says slurs.
pet worm, so that's pretty cool.

Stain section:
Was at no point attempting to do any leadership, but damn if that didn't stop people from following.
sword.

Tenya section says:
Step 4: Trusting my friends and being open to concrit.
must wear a Prop 65 sticker if he wants to visit California.
wait, so guys, the problem is that anyone out there is getting hurt or hurting other people, right. right? right...
only has to pay for a "men's" haircut.

Tenya and Stain overlap, without Geto, says:
autism probably.
What. Child soldiering is exploitation? What are you talking about.

Geto and Stain overlap, without Tenya, says:
highschool dropout.
interesting disillusionment from the powers that be. jesus, the conclusions you landed on about it really did not involve unpacking any of your own bad politics for, like, even a second, huh.
hang on rq while I eat the flesh of my enemies.

Tenya and Geto overlap, without Stain, says:
Oh god the system did not save the people I care about. I am experiencing an emotional breakdown.
I don't wanna be a lone wolf... I wanna have Buddies.
nose.
will take the hand of a child!

Robin, a woman with light skin and light brown hair which comes down to her shoulders. Her hair is pushed back by a pair of safety glasses which causes swoop/spike shapes to stick out all the way down.
