Ah, so just unplug everything from the Internet? Why didn't we think of that sooner?

This month’s sticker design for Patreon!
Medieval style rendering of Godzilla in front of a cloud of smoke and fire, with text written in red gothic letters that says “Go ahead and destroy the data centers, Godzilla. Make the people happy.”

Get your buns on a Teamspeak server. It takes like 5 minutes to set up a server. I set mine up over a year ago and I cannot envision a reason to go back to Discord. teamspeak.com/en/downloads...

It’s easy to see why the AI companies wanted to hide this from the public. The statements are some of the most damning indictments of the ways LLMs were trained, how they work, and the immediate threat they pose to human labor. @jasonkoebler.bsky.social reports. www.404media.co/doom-loop-op...

18 U.S. Code § 597 - Expenditures to influence voting explicitly states this a crime that comes with jail time. If only the rule of law in the US wasn't as dead as Mitch McConnell.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

I have been on a solo crusade to see what Single Board Computers (SBC) like the Raspberry Pi can do for homenet security. I am starting to see the limitations of a name brand hardware and I am doing my best not to get suckered into another one, but... Le potato by Libre Computer.

I'm worried about these guys. I gave up on all AI tools almost 2 years ago and am only just now feeling the fog lift from my brain and can write functional code on my own again. The instant gratification of a convincing solution absolutely fucks your capacity to think critically.

No one is advocating for evasion, they're advocating for conscious objection to this criminal regime. Don't live your life in fear of what these violent pedophiles will weaponize. That's how they win.

Today’s interesting newly registered ransomware-themed domain name is. hospitalransomware[.]com Which someone is trying to sell for $50k. That’s right, for about the 1/2 the cost of the average ransom paid by a healthcare provider you can own this domain!

The first chapter of the Kim Stanley Robinson's "The Ministry for the Future" paints a very grim picture of what will happen in this area - where millions of people could not cool themselves, even in the local rivers. I still think about that chapter.

Be skeptical of any dm or discord message that opens like: "Hi" "how are you" & then <paragraph description of why you should download this sketchy link im about to send you> It always follows the same format and is a dead giveaway someone got hacked, ask questions & confirm identities first!

Mamdani: I cannot help but think of the words of our 40th president, Ronald Reagan. He famously said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are 'I'm from the govt & I'm here to help'" I think nine more terrifying words are actually, "I worked all day and can't feed my family"
