Naturally, I need to share how the fund works. We create crochet critters. Hedgehogs, toadstools, little ghosts. They have beads so they can be used as a fidget. They are located at a few stores around the city as a donation based item. All funds are cycled back to community needs.

Crochet ghosts. One is purple and blue yarn with dark purple beads. The other is white with orange and yellow beads and glows in the dark.

Four hedgehogs made out of yarn and beads. One is light gold/tan with gold breads, one is light sage with lilac beads, one is dark shimmery blue with dark purple beads and one is yellow gold with dark purple beads.

Two hedgehogs made of yarn and beads. One is black glow in the dark yarn with beads that change to dark pink in the sun and glow green in the dark. The other is white and yellow yarn with dark blue beads.

Four hedgehogs made of yarn and beads. One is black with multicolor beads, one is varying colors of brown with dark brown beads, one is teal and lavender with light pink beads, and one light to dark pink with clear pink sparkly beads.

If I get extra, I’m buying a futon mattress. My cats peed on my existing one so she’s stuck on a blow up mattress and I think it’s making her body ache. It’s better than the ground but not ideal.

Sustainable hedgehog! This one is stuffed with leftover fabric scraps instead of fiber fill. I think I read somewhere that fiber arts create an extreme amount of waste and don’t biodegrade very well so I’m hoping to do more of this. #crochet #sustainable 🧶

Some of the hedgies I’ve been working on lately. I had to take a hiatus in April. I’m still shocked with how popular these ended up being and I don’t want to short an organization for a month because there is literally no hedgehogs for people to donate for.

Due to an unfortunate misunderstanding, my rigged up "lightbox" for my pictures got thrown away. HOWEVER, literal trash to the rescue! May I present lightbox 2.0 using an empty box of kitchen trash bags and matte sticker paper idk why I even have! It is very much an improvement. #photography 🧶

The newest baby. My sister got me a bunch of glow in the dark yarn so they will be glow in the dark for the foreseeable future!

This yarn is GORGEOUS when you look at the raw yarn string. It doesn't quite translate like I hoped, but still an adorable little baby. I'm going to use it some more with some solid monotone colors. Teal, orange, yellow, red. Probably bright green. Yes! 🧶 🤌🏻

Hello Everyone! Mutual aid is important to me. I believe that the best way to help many people is to just give them money. I make crochet hedgehogs, available for donations, that hang out at a local cafe. All funds collected are being cycled back into the community and individuals who need it.
