The constant manipulation of the Bible to justify vile behavior (like marital rape and child molestation in this instance) is often written off in WA because "we're not Idaho". But this has permeated everywhere. Growing up in Idaho and in this ideology its even more horrifying then I can convey.

This thread really exemplifies some internal conflict I've been having. An AI company (whose co-founder's wife has ties to Epstein) is claiming that in the next 3 years there is a 10% chance AI will kill us all. But AI is killing people now, and their creators are not being held accountable.

In current U.S. culture "jihad" is intrinsically tied to Islamophobia. Jihad really means to struggle or make an effort. After 9/11, narrow-minded people translated it to "holy war" and fearful people bought it.

I have a new disability. I'm moving slow and in a ton of pain. I got there late and found seating in the back. It was incredibly loud, didnt make out more than 4 sentences all night. I'd fully advise next time not booking with such sound reverberations and/or not make a bar area in the same room.

I appreciate your concern. But, people with disabilities do not need a separate area. We want to sit with our friends or where we want in the room. To be integrated in all spaces. Accessibility isn't about separation. It's about real inclusion.

I'm completely heartbroken. I'm disabled and couldn't hear a thing. If you want to have a bar night, by all means, have one. But this was not an accessible event. Was there really no ramp for the candidate in a wheelchair? I've loved this event and y'all for so long, but accessibility matters.
