I suppose I’d have to be on a zoom call also to prove to the graders that I was the one who actually pressed the button with the appropriate force and enthusiasm as well? That my likes are my own and not the work of others? I’ll do it but nobody’s going to be happy with this outcome.

The luddites were workers acting in solidarity against greedy owners during a time where employment was completely precarious. The negative associations with being Luddite is capitalist propaganda. Never apologize for showing solidarity with workers whose lives are being undemocratically upended.

Reading about what “left-conservative” parties believe is always a wild ride.

Guys she’s not trying to reprogram them, she just needs enough votes in 2028 so that the establishment wing of the party can’t stab her in the back.

That wealth was built on the backs of exploited Amazon workers. There’s absolutely nothing ethical about it.

This is how you lose a general election. Moskowitz is barely not a republican. Thirty some percent of voters chose the DSA candidate over him. A non-zero amount of people are going to say fuck this aipac stooge and leave it blank. Good luck dumbass.

Even if this were true, which it isn't, I would still tax the ever loving shit out of the wealthy because it's very apparent in american politics that some people have way too much money and spend unimaginable amounts of it to buy politicians off and work against the interests of regular people.

Going to be real with you all, this doesn’t seem that bad. They need to recruit young people and those people still need to pass training. A lot of games are heavy on reaction, multitasking, staring at screens for hours and communication. It kind of makes sense.

Context: 1. McKinney/Stevens voters are completely ideologically inconsistent which leaves said explanation. 2. Republican hypocrisy about defrauding government programs. Not an actual incitement to violence. 3. Blowback from decades of American intervention in middle eastern affairs. He’s correct

What Mamdani is exposing is that all of these levers of power exist in the American government structural hierarchy SOMEWHERE and not pulling them is a policy choice. When somebody starts pointing at these levers, or worse, pulling them, powerful people try to laser them out of existence.

They might try but they need to get through an insurgent left wing in the party and it will take one debate for the people to see through the centrist scum.

I really don’t give a shit about China, Senator. I don’t want to spend a bunch of our tax dollars trying to encircle and do a USSR style collapse that will never work. Please, just turn inward and focus improving conditions for regular people. Fuck the billionaires plagiarism machine.

Zohran is delivering more for New Yorkers in half a term than any recent Democratic mayor lol. Dsa is insurgent BECAUSE the party left wide open spaces in the areas that regular people are looking for change the most. Like your post makes no sense, DSA wasn’t even at the table until AOC and Bernie
110
CommonerMN @commonermn.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
The dsa is insurgent and growing. It’s a direct result of how ineffective the Democratic Party has been for 50 years to deliver working class victories.

There’s going to be a socialist governor in Wisconsin after November and the party isn’t going to be able to hide behind their stupid thesis that you need to moderate to the right to win elections.
010
CommonerMN @commonermn.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
The good vibes that are reverberating in America are, if anything, because the DSA is forcing America to acknowledge the left exists and Zohran achieving complete cultural victory in NYC. Everyone sees that shit and says, “hey, maybe socialism actually is based. I want that.”

Explain how a group of 125k people spread across the country could magically give the democrats a supermajority. At some point you actually have to admit a broader group of people don’t like the Democratic Party they simply tolerate them.

Every single dsa infographic on Fox News has basically been free advertising for dsa on bipartisan popular issues that Dems and Reps refuse to take. Hong is going to win in Wisconsin and Abdul will win in Michigan and it’s going to be open season on centrist democratic primaries in 2027 and 2028.

Sewer socialism was born in Wisconsin. People really don’t understand the history of states like MN, MI and WI. The idea that socialism can’t win there is flat out wrong. The history of labor movements and social progress are rich in these states.

Here is the 2028 primary list when AOC runs up ballot. None of these seats should remain unchallenged by a left wing candidate if they aren't already ousted in 2026.

Because many managers do not recognize their class position and are antagonistic to the lower rungs of the working class with very little pushback to upper management. I see it all the time in middle management corporate finance/accounting.

There are no communist states, only socialist transitional states where the stated goal is communism, eventually, after working through the contradictions of the socialist state. It’s an intergenerational project that doesn’t happen over night. Hope this helps.

Vote — Kiros for CO
Melat Kiros is running for Congress in Colorado's First District. It's time for a new generation of leadership to fight for Medicare for all, housing first, and universal childcare.

Baby brains think winning looks like some spontaneous rupture where everyone lays down their swords and bend the knee in unison. That’s not how change happens in the real world.

CommonerMN @commonermn.bsky.social · 24/06/2026
This kind of polling question is nearly useless. When you get specific about policy or where political power should be oriented and where it should not, the average American wants left wing policy overwhelmingly. See a couple posts prior about worker power.

Red scare brained probably isn’t even the right way to think about it since they at least seem to understand socialism will help them. They don’t like left wing aesthetic but they want the treats the left wing actually offers. They don’t like the way the actual fight for it looks though.
