#Halloween26 For today, it's Silver Bullet from 1985, a small town werewolf tale starring Corey Haim and Gary Bussey, in what I'd call some of their best acting. It's a fun movie from a Stephen King story that is ultimately about family.

I remember the direct to video sequel, Fright Night Part 2, very fondly. It wasn't as great as the original, but it had its charms, especially the vampire coven led by Regine Dandridge, Jerry's sister who has come seeking revenge, and the non-binary roller skating vampire Belle.

The scene where the Vampire Jerry Dandridge, played by Chris Sarandon, turns Evil Ed, played by Stephen Geoffreys, is super gay, down to Jerry telling Ed he knows what it's like to be "different." Geoffreys went on to star in gay porn under the name Sam Ritter.

For the 3rd #Halloween26 movie, it's Fright Night from 1985, my all time favorite horror movie. This has everything: it's definitely scary, with a villain who's both sexy and horrific, it borrows generously from others, and there's gay subtext for days.

Today for #Halloween26, I'll switch to werewolves with Howl (2015), starring Picard's Ed Speleers as a train conductor on a red eye. He's trying to protect passengers as the train is stuck in the forest with a pack of werewolves.

#Halloween26 I've been looking forward to October this year since last year to do a rewatch of Sinners. It was mesmerizing; between the music, the cast, and the story of an Irish vampire who was colonized coming to colonize a black juke joint for their music

Awww, very cute 😃 I think this picture was around 1999 or 2000, and about 70 or 80 lb ago 🤣 I didn't do the underwear parts of underwear night cause I just didn't see myself as skinny. I think I had some sort of body dismorphia.

Saw this on LinkedIn. Not a damned person in the thread gets it right because they're too busy bloviating about their grand knowledge of Newtonian mechanics, and they are not looking at the fucking picture. Here's a hint: Look very closely at the scissors for ball X

Evolution of LinkedIn: 1) Started as a way of kinda networking so you might find another job 2) People blurred the lines with Facebook and posted lots of political bullshit 3) AI slop running rampant and everyone trying to kiss the ass of the algo god

A total dumbass on LinkedIn who thinks that an AI algorithm can be objective and perceptive. Text reads: “AI therapists like Ellie are simultaneously more objective and more perceptive than humans and they can help us become the same. She gives us distance from our inner critic and a better understanding of what we’re perceiving in the present moment. In a very real sense, Ellie’s dispassionate reflection of who we are mimics the advantages conferred by ecstasis—the ability to look at ourselves from outside ourselves.”

A couple of new #Diaclone sets from a series called Tactical Movers, which all use the same robot inner frame with added stuff to make them effective at combat on the ground, in the air, in the sea, and in space. These two are for space and have a very Space 1999 vibe.

Two Diaclone Versaulter vehicles. The larger one is a flagship called the Dark Star, with a Daedalus booster and weapons unit. The smaller is called a Hawk, and acts as an escort to the larger ship.

Latest collecting obsession: #Diaclone. For those familiar with Transformers history, the original Diaclone from the 70s were vehicles that transformed to robots with tiny, 1/60 figures controlling them. These were sold in the US under #Transformers 1/2
