New cartoon: AGI comicss.art/comics/260/ Inspired by a Flavita Banana's cartoon at El Pais. This is the future that all the AI CEOs are looking forward to 😅 This cartoon was coded using HTML and CSS (I like how the appliances are a single div each). #css #joke #ai
cartoon with a washing machine in front of a toaster. They both in front of a microphone, and the washing machine says 'Welcome to the Wash and Toasty podcast, Humanity finally achieved AGI, what are your first thoughts'. Then the toaster and the washing machine start saying 'Bro' alternatively to each other for a while.

I've been publishing this comic as a 2x2 grid, but I have been playing with other layouts. I kind of like the 3-panel strip, but then I'll need to squeeze more into each panel and I'm afraid it may look too clogged and busy.

The latest comiCSS strip is about web accessibility and my "love" for meetings. It was inspired by a Twonks cartoon, giving it a web development/accessibility twist. comicss.art/comics/259/ As usual, it is coded using HTML and CSS. #comic #cartoon #accessibility #humor #joke #a11y
Comic with 4 panels stacked vertically. They all show a meeting room with 5 people sitting around a table. The lead says "before starting the meeting, let's introduce ourselves and go through the 31-point agenda", everybody else look concerned. One of them presses tab on their laptop, a "skip to main content" links pop up and he presses enter while all look surprised. Then the lead says "Ok. So let's start with the main topic" and everybody has a smile on their faces.

New cartoon: Nobody will remember... comicss.art/comics/257/ As always, this CSS cartoon was coded in CSS (this one was pretty easy actually 😅). #css #meme #webdev
Nobody will remember...
- Your salary.
- How busy you were.
- How long you worked.
- How many fancy cars you had.

People will remember...
- How much you loved CSS.
- The amount of CSS facts you knew.
- That time you coded some neat CSS art.
- If you shared how cool CSS is.

This comic from almost two years ago feels somewhat relevant lately... comicss.art/comics/174/ All coded with HTML (web components) and CSS. No AI used... And it got me into a weird Bluesky block list for using the name tag Tech Bro in a "pejorative" way. A win-win. #ai #webdev #comic
cartoon showing two characters. One is complaining that the AI Act is terrible and slows down progress in the EU. Then a panel describes an apocalyptic situation after AI replaces humans beings. The complaining character asks for potential solutions and ignores the other character when they continuosly reply 'AI Act'. In the last panel, a terminator has killed both characters.

I've been saying it for a long time 😅
Modified version of the Angry Wojak meme showing 4 panels with two people talking. The first panel shows a person saying 'CSS is not a programming language'. The second panel has the other person replying 'Of course it is! What are the main concepts of OOP?' Then proceeds to 'explain' how CSS 'has' encapsulation, inheritance, abstraction, and polymorphism, so it should be considered an object-oriented programming language. The last two panels show the first person, first normal (without saying anything) and then with an angry look.

New "cartoon": Border Collie comicss.art/comics/254/ I saw a similar concept on social media, and tried to give it a background-clip CSS twist. #css #webdev #comic
Four photos of a border Collie cropped differently: first one occupied a whole square and it's titled "border Collie". The second one has a blank space in the outside and it's called padding Collie. In The third one, the blank space is larger and it's titled content Collie. The last one is the text "text Collie" and the photo of the dog can be seen through the text.
