I like these and I like the intent. Safety and job protection are just not strong arguments against AVs (imo). Makes me curious, is the number of Lyft and Ubers and Taxis regulated? I guess I assumed anyone who wanted to could start Uber'ing or Lyft'ing.

I happened to be listening to the New Yorker podcast this morning. It was with Chrystia Freeland, "Deputy Prime Minister under Justin Trudeau, also held the roles of Minister of International Trade and Minister of Foreign Affairs." It was about the rift between US and Canada.

According to her, however, they love people from Minneapolis. The quote is:
