Namco Bandai fiscal year IP sales for its Top 3 IPs (Dragon Ball, Gundam & One Piece) in the last 14 years. In 2026 Fiscal Year, Dragon Ball had the biggest drop in profits while Gundam achieved 254.3 Billion Yen, the highest sales for the franchise & a Bandai Namco IP to date.

On the 20th of April 1991, Super Robot Wars was released for the Gameboy. A simply strategy game with Gundam, Mazinger & Getter Robo series would go on to be a long running franchise featuring multiple Mecha IPs across multiple gaming platforms. Happy 35th Anniversary SRW 🎉

On the 4th of April 2008, the 1st ep of Macross Frontier aired. It was the 3rd Macross TV series & celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the franchise. The 25 ep series was a huge commercial success, spawned various media & debuted in SRW L (DS) in 2010. Happy 18th Anniversary 🎉

Hideaki Anno (Evangelion Creator) is a big fan of SRW & has contributed ideas for scenes such as Bright slapping Shinji (SRW F). He also drew illustrations for a special SRW F booklet. His involvement with Shin Godzilla allowed Godzilla to debut in Super Robot Wars Cross Omega in 2016.
