We've arrived at the week I've been looking forward to. Spring is in the air and our third album starts to be unveiled this Friday - with a song called Vessels. We're not booking shows right now, but having played thousands of gigs as a drummer, I'm loving just focusing on writing/recording songs!

Yeah for me I have to play sober, but find a drink opens up the inspiration portal for lyrics to flow. I’ll see how I do without that. Jury’s out as it’s very early days - just over three weeks, in fact.

I won’t bang on about the not drinking, because I don’t have a sanctimonious position on it, except to say I’m getting a lot more done outside of the music, which puts me in a more relaxed state when it’s music time. I do still miss a couple of beers and a whisky chaser when writing lyrics though.
