Was once traveling for work and ordered a pizza from the Dominos at the wrong Army base. Delivery guy called me confused, unable to find the building. I was also confused, then embarrassed. I ended up having him deliver it to the maternity ward at the on-post hospital where my youngest was born.

I’m generally against the death penalty — including Nidal Hassan — but I also don’t get the pearl clutching over the firing squad method. I think I’d honestly rather be shot than injected with whatever hellish nightmare chemicals they use or gassed with cyanide or dangled from a noose.

Ultrasound was over a 1.5 hours ago. Had to wheel myself out into the hallway and ask a nurse how to get back to the waiting room because I’d been in the room so long. Still no news, but one leg is noticeably more swollen, colder, and stiffer than the other. I’m sure soon they’ll come shrug at me.
