twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 30/09/2026Finished Keeper and I guess I'm just left baffled that this wasn't a bigger critical and fan favorite hit. I started reading comments and they described negative remarks on aspects I specifically thought were well designed and technical marvels. Oh well. 011
twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 29/09/2026Keeper is a really fun and pretty game. I feel like in 10 years people will pretend they were always on board with how good it is, despite how popular it is right now to hate on df. 000
twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 26/09/2026Tracy Morgan does the dumb guy who occasionally says smart stuff bit in 30 Rock (like Homer Simpson) so well. Watching this series for the first time. Some good writing in it. Strange watching something that is factually ancient, but is shot in HD, and still feels vaguely fresh. 000

twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 16/09/2026It's so comical what dehumanizing prostrations and degradation they make you go through to cancel an ISP service in Canada. They offer a pretty good deal to keep you around, but straight up refuse to send you the details of the contract to your email. You HAVE to consent over the phone. 100

twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 03/09/2026Definitely not, but i don't dislike it as much as you. All I wanted to say is that when I was in school they specifically delineated guesses vs estimates, like I remember that being a specific lesson point in Sask, and I guess that lived with me. Dont want to pwn or be pwned. 110
twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 03/09/2026I went to Wikipedia and a funny thing i noticed is that all these words' meanings are derived from eachotehr in an incestuous web. twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 03/09/2026Oh you definitely don't _need_ it. I prefer to say "back of the envelope estimate" anyway. It's sort of a fermi estimate that can result in surprisingly accurate results sometimes, with a lot of conjecture and simplification. 200
twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 03/09/2026But yah I guess thats just my Canadian schooling context and definitely synonyms on many contexts. 000
twitch.tv/coltonphillips @colton64.ca · 03/09/2026To me estimate was always an "educated guess" not all guesses are estimates but all estimates are guesses. In class, our teacher would have separate expectations from "anybody have a guess" to "can you estimate the answer?" I think there is a smooth gradient between guess, estimate, and calculate 250
