Mental health matters, especially for our young people. Colorado’s Youth Mental Health Corps connects young Coloradans with trained peers who can help them find support, resources, and someone to talk to. We’re making sure no young person has to navigate it alone.

Who was Mother Cabrini? St. Frances Xavier Cabrini dedicated her life to serving children, immigrants, and people in need. In Colorado, she helped establish the Queen of Heaven Orphanage in Denver. The land she purchased in the foothills is now the Mother Cabrini Shrine.

Colorado leaves its mark, even on the big screen. The Stanley Hotel inspired Stephen King’s The Shining, while The Changeling grew from a haunting story near Cheesman Park. The park’s history as a former cemetery has also drawn comparisons to Poltergeist.
