Right then. Let’s get some spaceships painted and some orks primed. #warhammer #miniaturepainting #battlefleetgothic

A portable miniature painting setup based on Frontier Wargamjng stuff on my kitchen table.

Some unprimed orks from Andrew May and a small fleet of imperial ships for Battlefleet Gothic are lined up on the right for painting.

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to play with my toys. #warhammer40k #minaturepainting #killteam40k

A cluttered portable minature painting box and work with several wip models, various paint bottles, brushes, and tools in drawers and rays. A wet palette lies on a decorative mat alongside a clear glass and a printed instruction booklet with illustrations of a character. Box and tray from frontier war gaming.

The M-mount to Z-mount adapter for my Nikon Zf arrived and I’m finally reunited with my poor languishing M-mount lenses, including my 15mm/4.5 and 40mm/1.4 Voightlanders both of which are lovely and useless on crop sensors. #photography

A Nikon Zf camera is prominently displayed, featuring a Voightlander 15mm/4.5 lens mounted on a TTartisan adapter. The camera is positioned on a wooden table, with additional camera gear visible in the background.

@skinnylatte there's a map somewhere of river drainage basins in Europe that is illuminating. I suspect the same would work in China.

A map of European drainage basins which sketches out cultural boundaries.

[Fascism and rape headlines] When did “shocked” come to mean “entirely unsurprised by the laws of cause and effect operating”? “Stochastic terrorism” is not a new phrase, hasn’t been for decades now.

Screen shot of theguardian.com with headline
“Police say about 110,000
attending ‘unite the kingdomrally in London, with 5,000
counter-protesters”

Smaller article below: “MPs in UK express shock after
a alleged racially motivated rape of Sikh woman”

Forgot I hadn’t finished the Champions of Slaanesh box: these are a rather lovely group of chaps who like to get together and play the music of the spheres. (Another squad of these and some bolter boys to do.) #warhammer40k #noisemarines #allhailslaaneshprincessofexcess

A group of six newly assembled noise marines from Warhammer 40k in a 4:2 formation brandishing sonic weapons, one with a sword.

After a couple of very ballet focused weeks I can finally sit down and play with my new Paint Chest from Frontier Wargaming, freeing me from the attic office I work in all day. #warhammer40k #paintingminis

A open paint 60x40cm chest with four columns of trays of colourful paint tubs, tools and in progress minatures.

All sitting on an oak table with a cutting mat in front of the chest.
