A barrel in 2025 is not the same as a barrel in 2016. I recalibrated barrels such that each season holds the outcome quality fixed (.813 AVG / 2.813 SLG). HR/aBrl SD drops from 5.71 to 0.90. @tangotiger.com wrote in 2018: "if someone wants to tweak [this] by all means." Finally took you up on it.

A cool thread on a guy I'm starting to come around on for the first time. And for a pretty basic reason: Jordan Walker hit a ball 115.5 mph last year. In 2024, there were 38 hitters with 400+ PA who hit a ball 114+ mph. 34/38 had >= 100 wRC+ 30/38 had >= 116 wRC+ I'll take those odds.
