Conduent made its case that the NJ Turnpike’s E-ZPass contract award to TransCore was flawed “at every level.” The concerns go beyond the Turnpike. “We’re talking about avoiding and preventing favoritism and corruption in our procurement processes.”

So many people have asked - what happened to the original Transitway plan for World Cup? I talked to several people about what happened during talks between NJ Transit and MetLife Stadium owners. More on that, how NJT came in under budget and what they paid for, and the future of Transitway.

Pols from NJ, NY pulled with ease on a pretend lever to start the rotation of the tunnel boring machine for the Gateway dig. But that ceremonial moment doesn't capture the hardship that came before it - or ongoing hurdles. Be sure to check out the story, but the photos/video might even be better.

The NJ TRANSIT LAND plan to find new uses for underused property/parking lots near transit is a hallmark of the Kris Kolluri era. While there's excitement from developers and some municipalities, others will need more convincing, as seen in Plainfield.

This is not the first time a wire/cable was damaged amid NJ rail construction - 12/4/25: overhead wire issue near Newark was caused by the contractor working on the Portal North Bridge. - 5/12/23: Construction at PNB "affected electrical systems that impact train movements"

My story about the ground stops at major airports along East Coast, stems from a primary circuit and back-up fiber failures serving PHL TRACON. Also worth noting PHL Area C (i.e. EWR/TEB) have had staffing triggers for days - might get worse after this.
