Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet in the Mel Brooks movie "Spaceballs". He asks "How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?" Which results in most of the people in the background to stand up and yell "Yo!"

RIP Paracable, You made some kick ass USB Charging cables.

Screenshot of an excerpt of an email I received this morning from the company Paracable, announcing that they are shutting down.

"It's with a heavy heart that I write to inform you that Paracable will be closing its doors permanently. After an incredible 15-year journey, we are shutting down operations due to the increasingly challenging manufacturing environment and ongoing tariff uncertainties affecting our China-based production.

Our Amazing Journey Together

What started as a simple solution to protect my charging cables from my kitten Baxter's sharp teeth has grown into something far beyond what my co-founder David Fisher and I ever imagined. From those early days of hand-soldering cables in our wooden jig to developing four patents and serving over 50,000 satisfied customers worldwide, Paracable has been an extraordinary adventure."
