For all the "Burnham bounce" and decline in Reform's support (both of which seem to have plateaued out) a Tory-Reform coalition looks like a shoe-in. Especially as Burnham has ruled out working with the Greens.

It's just dawned on me that, when I rushed out to get to the supermarket for closing time, then called into the pub for a swift half, I left two 90% defrosted duck legs sitting on the kitchen counter. I wonder if they'll still be there when I get back.

No only is there nothing on the BBC News website about far-right activist Danny Thomas attempting to sink a boat with people on board by slashing it with a knife, it says this: This isn't failure to report. It's not even deliberate omission. It's a systematic coverup.

Daniel Thomas, known as Danny Tommo, shared a YouTube livestream of the boat from the Channel.
Thomas - a long-term campaigner against migrants - organised recent protests in Portsmouth and Dover.
