Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 07/09/2026That I dont know, or at least dont have any up to date info on. I left Germany almost 3 years ago, and haven't been in eastern Germany since 2017. Since then a lot could've changed. Back in 2017 though, east vs West was still a clear divide. Lower income, worse infrastructure in eastern Germany. 120
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 07/09/2026If you take a look at the last general election results in Germany, the divide is clearly visible, with most of old eastern Germany being mostly AFD and the Old West being mostly CDU 240

Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 22/08/2026I'm using it right now, it works just how I'd want it to work. Only caveat I really got is that I manually have to repatch Youtube and install a newer version every few months cause Youtube doesn't like too old client versions to access its data 000
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 22/08/2026I use Revanced. Simplest for me to install and allows me to remove features from YouTube i never want to see, like shorts, both from UI and the feeds, etc. 110
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Yup, had those a good year ago as well. Im refusing to turn off adblock, use standard mobile YouTube or pay 16 bucks a month just to avoid ads... Yes, they just increased prices for premium again 110
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Now I know why my ram prices went up by 130 bucks in one day... Please let this nightmare be over soon 110
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 30/07/2026But hey, AI now responds half a second quicker at the same shitty quality. Definitely worth it! 010

Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 25/11/2025While I am doing everything in my might right now to lose connection to that country, I will never be able to deny it as being my birthplace. The majority of my life so far has been spent in germany. It hurts to think back to days where I was proud of carrying the flag. 000
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 25/11/2025I decided to go through my youtube "Liked Videos" Playlist. It has grown for 6 or 7 years now. I had found this short one or two years back www.youtube.com/shorts/3HT9G... I already agreed with its message back then, now, it hits even harder.youtube.comDeutschland früher war alles besser ich vermisse alte Beste Zeit #shorts #deutschlandYouTube video by BOSS DELUXE 100

Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 28/10/2025Like my old room as a kid. A mess, but still orderly and lively. I miss those times... Very well done though! 010
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 15/10/2025I use ublock origin, cause it was the most reliable I found in the past, and it still proves to be. I'm also running Firefox instead of chrome-based browsers to even have it. Gave it some extra filters to block shorts or Google AI stuff. Adding more every week recently 100
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 12/10/2025I love how vibrant and lively film looks. It's something even the most modern phone cameras can't capture. I suppose that's also what adds to the nostalgic feel 020
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 06/10/2025Luckily never fell into the trap of TikTok and other general social media. But YT, being my main source of entertainment at the time, eventually dragged me into their shorts corner. Sometimes, ignorance is a blessing 120
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 06/10/2025I fell into that trap myself, noticed how it changed me in a negative way as you pointed out. Eventually decided this is the end with anything shorts related, installed an app preventing me from using shorts, then removing them from my YT app. It's going better now, hope some others wake up as well 110

Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 12/02/20251 year... It's been 1 year since I left my old country, Germany, and found my new home in the Netherlands. What an experience that was... Suffice to say, I don't regret anything 000
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 23/12/2024Been considering to start some kind of creative work in my free time again. At the same time scared of me just losing interest instantly again or feeling like giving up too early. Hate that... 010
Cyvreg the Wyvern @coldrogue26.bsky.social · 20/09/2024Really impressed by phone cameras today. My old phone, Pixel 6 Pro could barely take a shot of a moon. When the moon was out again this day, I tried again with the Pixel 8 Pro. I'm by no means a photographer, nor do I often use the camera, so both shots could potentially have been made better. 020
