Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Want to say the SA-X in metroid fusion as that's obviously scary and all and i played it when i was like 7, but truthfullly 4 year old me was absolutely petrified and came home crying from Thomas and the Magic Railroad. I do not know why. 020

Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Also let it be known im doing everything in my power not to make truly embarassing posts along the lines of "This is the best game Namco have ever made" in this honeymoon period. But what if tho 030
Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 03/10/2026There's plenty of amazing tracks in AC8 but "Paint it blue" might be my fave. 15 minute goddamn suite that changes dynamically throughout it's mission, I think the Namco sound team actually outdid themselves this time. 130

Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 01/10/2026There's a MISSION UPDATE in Ace Combat 8 that is so fucking good I am genuinely still smiling about it after sleeping on it. PA put this as their banner 22 years ago and the most fucked up thing about it is that they were correct 071

Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Ace Combat 3 (JP) I think is really up there. I hope that new cut of Miami Vice is good i was on board with the movie but i think a little tweaking could really make it shine 000
Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 28/09/2026It's a good job that Ace Combat 8 is the last videogame that will ever be made, as Nugget demands that you never install anything else 140

Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 26/09/2026A huge part of Fortune's Weave is finding out truly insane information just through checking a stats screen or cos you gave someone a birthday present 010

Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Something very funny about dropping a streaming policy which basically amounts to "you should be considerate to other people" 060
Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I'd say it's more of a Gaiden/Shadows of Valentia 2, but that's probably cos I don't like fates. Honestly its got a lot of DNA of a lot more of the series than i expected when i basically expected Four Houses. 010
Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Also whilst it started off maybe a bit too easy im happy to say it's really solid map-wise as it progresses and has some teeth, at least on the route i played. It is odd to make 4 whole fire emblems at the same time, but playing it i can really see why they did. 110
Cold_ @coldcomfort.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Finished my first Fortune's Weave route - I think so far it's very good - the game really leverages it's truly ridiculous scale to make the individual tale i played feel like really a small cog in a huge story. You get glimpses into the other tales that really feel like this. 130
