Call it vanity if you like. This is the result of busting my arse in the gym 5 days per week for 9 months. Scale showed 170# and 20% this morning, down from 176# and 26% in January. Resting pulse 60 bpm, bp 110/70, glucose 90. Age 57. I *earned* this. #gymselfie

Deadlift 5-rep max today was 185 pounds. I might maybe could have gone 200, but I was already dizzy and seeing stars, so thought best not to push that hard. My max five months ago was 135, so I'm gaining 10 pounds per month.
