Thanks to your encouragement, I've been trying new ways of looking for opportunities. Using the finviz heat map on a 1-month timeframe set to "themes," after semiconductor packaging, the next best theme was genomics under healthcare/biotech. Already up 17% on TXG. Thanks! Travel safely.

To be fair, I am a man who drives a truck. I am also a contractor who hauls a lot of heavy materials on rutted dirt roads (sometimes requiring 4WD) to job sites like this one, in a nature conservancy (and this is one of the more accessible ones)...

Well, we got to play two songs for the La Vida Festival at Cheyenne Mountain Resort last night before a gusher of a storm moved in and wrecked the entire festival. Sadly, that meant we didn't get to check out The Iguanas from NOLA, who were headlining. What a disaster!

To be fair, a lot of areas in my part of CO would look like this if all the standing dead from Pine Beetles were removed. In fact, the top of Poncha Pass near Salida now looks a lot like this. There's another area between Crested Butte and Lake City where entire mountainsides are standing dead.

What we'd like vs. what we have... Who wouldn't take a brand-new Oyster over a 50 year-old Hobie, right? Someday, maybe, we'll get a blue-water cruiser that we can do remote work from, and sail away to retirement. Dream big, even if you have to start small.

I'm not sure it would be differentiated much from the Cruise Industry, but I love the thought of it. I wonder how affordable it would be. As it is, my spouse and I have been considering selling our home, buying a decent blue-water yacht and working remotely via satellite.

When I built my home a few years ago, my electric co-op offered a 50% rebate to install a heat pump. Also, a nearby town is building a 32-unit affordable housing complex and it will be heated/cooled with heat pumps in each unit.

Bishop Castle, known to most Coloradans and many visitors to our state, is under threat from wildfires. And on my side of the mountains, air quality has been listed as unsafe, with recommendations to stay indoors or relocate temporarily if smoke is making you feel ill.
