#Fensterfreitag looking out through one of the "Arkwright" windows in the central section of Bakewell Old House Museum

Looking outwards through a multipained old window (24 panes in a thin metal framework). Set in a thick wall, so with deep sides and ledge on which sits an exibit and information card. The interior of the room is dark. To each side are glass cabinets which reflect the window, giving an impression of a row of three windows. Through the window can be seen the roof and top section of an old stone house

#ThickTrunkThurday Spotted whilst waiting at one of 4 sets of temporary traffic lights on the A6 between Buxton and Bakewell last week. Only a #phonepic (and I know I shouldn't use my phone whilst in the drivers seat, but I had spent so much time stationary I didnt care at that point! 🤣)
