Further experimentation with input methods and focus stacks in @bomb.sh Notice how focus cycling is constrained to just the dialog box when it opens, but then returns to the main form when it is closed.

I love it when a model comes together. This time, spiking out focus cycling and text editing with native cursors for @bomb.sh Special bonus: pluggable editing keymaps! (this demo uses readline bindings)

Here's an example of a sidebar transition working in Alacritty I don't have ready access to gnome-terminal, but does that answer your question?

And the Oscar for best gif in a README goes agent-recall for emacs github.com/Marx-A00/age...
Arnold Scwharznegger is strapped into the Recall machine from the movie "Total Recall" There are two electronic interfaces against his head (presumably through which memories are injected). These have each been photoshopped to have one with the Claude icon and the other with the Emacs icon.

These demos showing virtual scrolling with clayterm are kind of amazing.

Added "line" mode to clayterm to support nice interactions in normal scrolling CLIs. The trick: 1. render frame continuously into the region at the bottom. 2. "commit" the final frame to scroll history. Non-terminal pipes like CI logs see the last frame only, so look nice github.com/thefrontside...

Don't really need to tune in to see how it landed. Can you spot 9pm EST on the timeline?

Whipped up a quick app with clayterm explore the Kitty Keyboard Protocol which I learned most modern terminal emulators implement to progressively enhance terminal input sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/keyboa... You can turn the various progressive enhancements on and off and see what events get raised

Writing a terminal renderer for JavaScript was so chill! - WASM build of Clay for layout (github.com/nicbarker/clay) - Crank for JSX and stupid simple reactivity

TIL Fisherman’s Friend is made in England. But I guess I should have known that given that it’s sold in boxes of 38.

Passed this on the way home today. The hawk looked right at me and I definitely got the message "Stay the $%*@ away from my squirrel!"
A large hawk guards a freshly killed squirrel in the middle of the road. The hawk guarding the squirrel is looking directly at the camera with piercing eyes.
