finished Princess Peach Showtime. i don’t think i’m going to try all the post game stuff, having to replay basically the entire game just to get 100% seems bad. but it was a reasonably fun time at least, and seeing Peach go full anime magical girl at the end was pretty great.

Princess Peach Showtime is pretty good as far as kid-focused games go, but there are some pretty obvious issues with it messaging what objects are interactive, where the points-of-no-return in levels are, whether something is a cutscene or not, etc.

so you get a 50% discount if you have the original, and the DLC is included. but you don't get a larger discount if you have the DLC. so Nintendo wants me to pay ~$50 after tax for a framerate upgrade. but I could have got the entire game + DLC for *less* than I paid on Switch 1. thanks assholes.
