SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

Comparison of the old src terms and the new src terms

I think it's a combination of "unpopular sonic game = 1/10" and "this game's controls don't click immediately so it must be bad"

010

Lexi!! @coempathy.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

if they play an actual 1/10, they definitely won't survive the winter.

Video appears on my feed with the title ‘Is Sonic 3D Blast the worst platformer ever made?’ Buddy, its not even the worst platformer with the words ‘Sonic’ and ‘Blast’ in the name

Personally Im extremely all over the place about this, I would love to have Marchenko, especially bc I think the Leafs need one more guy in the top 6 whose right side is their strong side. But, trading Knies is a really big ask, especially on the incredible contract he’s on. I just dont know.

Im so glad he’s on a team I like, I miss him on the Stars

Hi friends, I'll be involved in an All Stories LTS Relay Race on the @saesr.events channel shortly. If you're unaware what LTS is, it's pretty similar to a no major skips category. I'll be playing Dark Story. www.twitch.tv/saesr_events

Based on the Stars’ 2027 cap situation I’m like 80% sure we resign him somewhere between Jan 1st and the trade deadline for 15-16m, but we’ll see.

Lexi!! @coempathy.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

that direct was fine, there was some cool stuff, but I caught myself being far more excited for release dates than new announcements. though I'm not into OoT, KH, or Xenoblade so that's to be expected I guess LOL

010

Lexi!! @coempathy.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

okay so the next direct we get an MM remake to complete the set right

I adore Pavelski as a player and a mentor to younger players. He'd probably be a great coach with some more experience, he probably should be an assistant first though.

Yeah I'm basically in the exact same boat, it's why I refused to take them as a cup finalist. They need to prove to me that they can actually win in a conference final.

010

Lexi!! @coempathy.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

heard a lot of talk about how the canes were gonna have an easy trip to the cup finals when they'd beaten the sens and flyers. sure, they were sweeps, but they weren't sweeps over incredible scary teams.
