As Reform MPs have demonstrated, there is almost no transparency when it comes to political lobbying. That is why every quarter I publish a log of my private policy meeting with campaigners, unions and businesses. Every MP should do this. Read my latest log: www.sianberry.org.uk/news/sian-be...
Image shows Nigel Farage in a pinstripe suit, holding a pint of beer with a union jack flag in his front suit pocket, he is walking with George Cottrell. Cottrell supplied Farage with personal security, accommodation, and social media filming in the year leading up to Farage's election as MP in 2024, which has gone undeclared in Nigel Farage's Register of Interests.

Under parliamentary rules, new members must declare financial interests and "registrable benefits" received in the 12 months before their election.

Yet again, the Government is failing to treat the climate emergency with any sense of urgency at all. Climate-wrecking airport growth mainly helps people spend money abroad, when we could invest in green transport, connecting people to brilliant domestic destinations like, er, Brighton instead.

You can't fix a broken system by shutting voices out. If Andy Burnham wants a lasting solution to the social care crisis, we have proposals worth hearing.
Quote graphic from Ellie Chowns, MP for North Herefordshire: Quote reads: "Successive governments have neglected social care and treated it as a political football. If Andy Burnham is serious about doing things differently and tackling the crisis in care, he must work collaboratively with the Greens and other parties to do so."

We live in Rip Off Britain. We need wealth taxes. Rent controls. And real action on the climate crisis - that brings bills down. This is how we make hope normal again.
The Greens also claim Burnham’s message of hope has been taken from their playbook, with Polanski quipping that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”

But he warned: “People aren’t just going to get hopeful. They’re going to get hopeful when their bills come down, when their wages go up, when the cost of living reduces.”
