An ID on a bird I’ve never seen before. It’s called a Townsend’s Solitaire. They’re known for eating juniper berries in the winter and we’ve got some in the area. I’m sure they might give these olive trees a try though. I like the little shock of color on the wing that stands out a bit. #birds 🪶

“Mine!” Had a big influx of dark eyed juncos in the area this month with the snow. They don’t like to feed off the ground normally but will make exceptions. #birds 🪶
