stayed up late last night writing a piece for hayden panettiere. this hurts so bad. she was a year younger than me, and i literally grew up with everything she did. she was such a massive part of my childhood. first michelle trachtenberg, and now her. this really hurts. rest in peace, queen 💔

I had so much fun with Forbidden Fruits I can’t even begin to tell you! It’s one of my favorites this year so far. It’s Mean Girls, but make it witchy with a slice of slasher—an instant cult classic! My review for @thecurbau.bsky.social www.thecurb.com.au/forbidden-fr...

Forbidden Fruits is basically Mean Girls meets Free People but make it witchy and slasher, and honestly, it feels made just for me. Instant cult classic. The kills are epic. Lili Reinhart gives pure bubbly pop queen vibes, and the soundtrack slaps so hard. I’m obsessed 💅🔪

Every Republican president in my lifetime has picked a war based on a lie when his favorability rating started to tank. America has never been the shining city on the hill. We've been the land from whence monsters come in the night to drop bombs and fire on children and innocents.

Did you know Humphrey Bogart was buried with a tiny gold whistle from a charm bracelet he gave Lauren Bacall before they even married? It was engraved: “If you want anything, just whistle,” echoing her line in To Have and Have Not: “You know how to whistle, don’t you, Steve?”

Rewatched To Have and Have Not (1944). Lauren Bacall was the queen of cool, smoky voice, effortless slouch, a glance or whispered line that could cut through the room. She embodied danger, mystery, elegance. Not to mention her wardrobe in this movie was god-tier 🖤
