I tend to look at the quality and themes of the reviews, rather than just the quantity of negative reviews. As you said, often I find that people are upset over something that doesn't really bother me, or maybe got fixed along the way.

Yes! Fizzle has a pet mechanic with three variables: Attention; Hunger; Tiredness. When content she will periodically bring you some rewards she finds along the way. The most significant is CDs from old earth. Our game comes with over 30 unique soundtracks, and you can listen to them in the Jukebox.

Food going low, torch almost expended, surrounded by traps and monsters roaming about. Genuine panic in the dark. In 1987, before we had a word for “immersive gaming”, Dungeon Master opened a new genre... and then locked us inside. Real-time interactive 1st person environment.

That's a fair point and clearly needs a bit of tinkering. In my mind, the question is what is the probability of a fluke given a spike? I can think of some ways to make this decision a bit more intelligent, maybe with logit models and lots of auto-play? What do you think?

I realise I'm being unnecessarily vague here due to a lack of caffeine. My approach is to cap 30fps if the avg fps count drops below 50 over 5 seconds, then sustain 30fps until the end of the level. I will also allow the 30fps cap for smoother experience through settings. Let's see.
