Admittedly a very nice thing in FE6 hard mode is units like Marcus and Dieck can function as both your early game carries but also have just the right stats to use weaker weapons and setup kills for your training projects.

I am realizing I lost my hammer when Wade died. Probably the more most impactful thing to happen. But I suppose I'm not using axes a ton til I get Gonzales anyway. Or I suppose I promote Dieck, but I tend to promote him second after Rutger.

Decided to focus on Alen over Lance this go around purely because his affinity type is better for a Roy support. Not really much other reason. They're both certainly usable and until Perceval I'll still definitely use Lance.

I think I'd like to play some Magic but the most popular format is one I'm not all that interested in. Commander certainly sounds fun to play with friends but in terms of building a deck, 99 cards and all singles sounds kinda annoying to me. I value consistency a lot in decks.

Doing an FE6 ironman and chapter 4 hurts bro. I lost two, though it was just Bors and Wade so not anyone particularly all that important. Still, it's always just a touch of a difficulty hump with all the cavs.

The end to the Terran campaign was a heck of a lot easier than the Protoss one. Hell it was easier than the missions that preceeded it. I just mass built battlecruisers and that was good enough. No thoughts. No strategy. Just big ships and kill.

Oldschool rts hotkeys are funny cause they try to make sense by making the hotkeys the first letter of something. Train a Marine with M. Build a Starport with S. But then you also need to build a Science Building. But S is already taken. So we got I for -Ience Building instead.

Admittedly, going from the end of the Starcraft campaign which ended on Protoss, to the start of the Brood War campaign, which STARTS with Protoss, is a lil, well I worry it could get stale is all.

Aight, so I played through Starcraft with the original hotkeys. But for Brood War, I am not gonna be reaching over to the other side of my keyboard to use the P key just to make a basic worker unit. We rebinding this shit AoE style. Everything is from QWE to ZXC with a few minor exceptions.

So Tassadar was really cool and a hero to all but also like… Isn’t it sorta his fault that the Zerg found his homeworld? Maybe they don’t exactly know that. But if he hadn’t been working with the Dark Templar to assassinate a Cerebrate, the Overmind wouldn’t have known where it was.

Okay. Into the Darkness may be the worst no build mission I've played. Has a hero that can't die. Only like 3 good units (the hero being one ofc) But you've got kamikaze dudes that instakill anyone they blow up, the hero included. And there are several of them. Oh and they're hidden.
