Thanks, Matt! Fun read.So five more. 😆

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Speaking of Red Shadows, I wonder if any of them will fit snugly in a M.A.R.S. S.N.A.K.E. suit. Yes, it's not the Escape Armor but close enough and also M.A.R.S. sells their tech globally. So yeah. 😆 i did get those red suits from Pulse last week. Surprised they were shipped before Amazon's.

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Yeah, I love ARAH file cards, especially from '82-85. Before they swapped titles and code names. Too bad Hasbro doesn't feel like including FCs in Classified boxes but after seeing what's on back of the Retros, I'm glad they didn't. 😆 Srsly, Playmates did a great job on TMNT x GI Joe FCs.

I'm kind of secretly hoping he ain't an army builder cuz if he is, my insane self will want to buy five more... 😆 So many Classified releases in such short time. Woof.

Nice! Mine just shipped. Did the packaging give you any more info about him?

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Park your car(s) outside the garage from now on? 🤔

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Look, new stress relievers! 😊 bsky.app/profile/pret...

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I never got around to watching that movie...huh, he never appeared happy for a moment? Either way, I'll get him. Maybe NECA will include a sad head in a future Sesame Street con exclusive? They have done that before.

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

What am I missing here? 🤔

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Batman... *sighs* He was a huge collecting focus for about 15 years. BTAS, to be specific. I collected everything from all over the world, from toys to food to promo displays etc. E.g., Pixi/Plastoy mini chess sets from France & the Vitamilk banner for MotP glasses from Thailand. I was crazy AF. 😆

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

🤔 *looks up biryani* Ahh, I see. Sounds delicious, nom, nom. And it's me, Frosty. This is my new account. Starting over. So...hi again. ((👋 ))

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

🖕Pete "Officials involved in the investigation pointed to gaps that they said were left after Hegseth dismantled most of the Pentagon’s civilian harm mitigation, or CHM, units—cutting headcount across a number of teams by roughly 90%... No CHM team member reviewed the Minab site before the strike."

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Got mine off Pulse. *recovers slowly from adrenaline rush*

That's shitty, sorry to hear. I did get two HALs a few days ago but haven't opened either one yet. 😬 I did have a few Customer Care chats earlier in the year and they weren't as flexible as before. Like they changed some policies recently, I dunno.

Yeah, thanks to you (abd Matt L), I've been feeling more and more inclined to collect 'em. 😆 Kind of bummed to find out Skeletron did say there are no plans to reissue the MKII. Hope they'll reconsider.

020

🤔 That seems good enough of a recommendation so I'll give the first book a read as soon as I finish the latest Dresden Files novel. 🤓

Not nice of him to do that. 😕 I remember visiting my two female cousins when we're around that age & being surprised to find myself under their shoulder height. Ba-da-boom they went on me, how?! Years later it was my turn to go ba-da-boom. Now they're under my shoulder height. They're like how?! 😆

Eek...that really happened to you? That must've been beyond scary. 😬

I'm glad you're still here and doing well nowadays, Eleanor. 😊🫶

Xmas '84 was just insane. Tons of G.I. Joe toys. Not just '84 releases but also a lot of earlier ones. Basically a big catch-up. Never had another Xmas quite like that.

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Another #VintageToyTuesday, another Xmas '84 photo 🎄 G.I.Joe ARAH Cobra Rattler Yes, you sure can see how fekkin' happy I was. 😊 #GIJoe

Ha, I have 40-99. It was one of my collecting goals during late 80s and 90s. Just couldn't afford 39. Wouldn't settle for less than VF. 50 was a toughie. Retired from that hobby years ago (low vision). Nice pickups and good luck for completing your run!

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Nice. Still on waitlist for the light blue one. I wanna pretend he's pre-Cobra Commander. BTW, I did just learn that Roboskull MK2 is cross-scale. Now I want 3. Or 6. Yes, I saw the price. 😭 Did Skeletron say they'll be making more? 🤔

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Quite a lot of info for me to digest... 😆 Much appreciated, Matt. 🙏 Uhm, I just checked BBTS for OMF Crimson Moon figures and I only see Sleepwalker. Were there some earlier offerings that are no longer listed there? 🤔

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Ahh, okay. 🤔 *Googles* From Skeletron? Never heard of that company before. 😮

100

Wickedly cool! From Action Force, right? Not very familiar with that franchise. Crimson Shadow = Red Shadow? 🤔 Educate me? 😆

Glad you're digging 'em! I got a couple more for future VTTs. 😊🎄

Can't recall not having fun with any G.I. Joe toy I had as a kid. 🧒 The toyline was just too big so I too didn't have certain toys either like Moray and Snow C.A.T.

Uh-huh, I told my mirror self I was so going to get 'em all. Ah ah ah!⚡️

#VintageToyTuesday While I don't have easy access to any of my vintage toys (in deep storage), I'll share another childhood pic instead. Here's the G.I. Joe ARAH Killer W.H.A.L.E. Hovercraft I got for Xmas in 1984. #GIJoe

A wide-smiling 11yo boy (me) holds the boxed Hovercraft. The box is big enough to conceal his entire torso.

Whuh? What prompted the change? 🤔

Eleanor, when you started studying Japanese, were you ever thinking about becoming an English teacher in Japan? What led you to take the translator route? 🤔

Me included if I ever try to teach any language in class..."Uhm, students, you wanna learn how to pronounce words in Italian? Rent Italian movies. Class dismissed."

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

*nods* I know the feeling. Someday soon I could post scans of the 10-page story titled "Who is Cheryl Blossom?" here. Something fun for you and other Archie fans to read on a slow day. Would you like that? 🤔

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Which titles? 🤔 I actually have some original comic art from Archive, mostly featuring Cheryl Blossom.

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Indeed. One of my minor hobbies is collecting high school yearbooks of certain celebs and I happen to have Frank Oz's. Still looking for Jim Henson's. And can't wait to put all the Muppets that NECA will be releasing on the shelf. Yeah, I'm a big fan. 😊

Bro, I'm trying to have my lunch... 🤢

Ha, would be cool if that variant comes with a launchpad like the one the original J.U.M.P. set had.

Looking very forward to getting mine soon. Flash & Short-Fuze were my first two #GIJoe figures. I remember putting them & file cards in a shelf unit w/no back and shining down the back from the top with a flashlight in the dark. Gave them a cool shadowy effect. Stared at them in childhood awe.

Huh, never seen 'em before. Pretty neat designs!

I could only remember having the scratch 'n sniff sticker cards maybe in 1983. The fruits. Were they part of this set?

Frosty @codenamefrosty.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Can't even watch that show but only because my eyes are shit. S'okay, I think I've enjoyed enough Trek in my life. The 90s was just pure fun. Hard to top TNG/DS9. 🖖
