Yay! Jada Toys just selected me in a random drawing for the SDCC 2026 exclusive Ultra Street Fighter II Akuma (Deluxe Player 2)! He sold out goddamn fast back in July but Jada offered us another chance via a random drawing last week (leftovers from cancelled orders). Can't wait! 😊

Another #VintageToyTuesday, another Xmas '84 photo 🎄 G.I.Joe ARAH Cobra Rattler Yes, you sure can see how fekkin' happy I was. 😊 #GIJoe

A super-happy 11yo boy (me) holds up the boxed Cobra Rattler (blue fighter jet) in the air and to his left. He sits on the living room floor full of Xmas clutter.

#VintageToyTuesday While I don't have easy access to any of my vintage toys (in deep storage), I'll share another childhood pic instead. Here's the G.I. Joe ARAH Killer W.H.A.L.E. Hovercraft I got for Xmas in 1984. #GIJoe

A wide-smiling 11yo boy (me) holds the boxed Hovercraft. The box is big enough to conceal his entire torso.

#VintageToyTuesday This is the infamous Stretch Monster (Kenner), a toy very highly sought-after by Stretch Armstrong collectors, I received as a Xmas gift in 1978.

A very excited 5yo boy (me) holds the boxed Stretch Monster toy. The toy is a green grotesque-looking figure that you can bend or stretch its arms and legsbb

A 5yo boy (me) and his late father (sitting on the couch) both pull the Stretch Monster toy apart by its arms and smile at the camera.

Starting over here on Bluesky. That profile pic is from this original comic artwork of the corner box used for the first 100 issues of G.I.JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO. Drawn by Herb Trimpe in 1982. One of my most prized possessions. Yo Joe! #gijoe #comics #comicart

A pencil and jnk drawing of a shouting infantry soldier (Grunt of GI JOE) with a raised right fist and a firing rifle in his left hand.
