Each time I write a new bio for a new site I am more reluctant! This is how you’ll find out I can’t successfully complete those “prove you’re not a robot” tests! But OK: I live & love on Naarm/Melbourne, bookworm, bad drawerer, have one (1) invisible cat

one thing Astra Taylor and Naomi Klein could do to reduce fascists' power is to close their accounts on the Nzi site, but (I don't know what the but is; can't comprehend people still having accounts there)

Asked Raindrop.io (bookmark service) if they would consider any social aspect like a ‘most saved links’ page (like Pinboard had) but they replied that their focus is private bookmarks and there are other social bookmarking services.

Kid A was excited to tell us about a story writing exercise they'd done at school, Frankenstories, where the kids had to write parts of a story and then voted on the winning parts to make a full final story. So here we are, after dinner, writing a Family Frankenstory about squirrels and wizards :D
Screenshot of the Frankenstories website with the writing prompt "Imagine they help a wizard" with an image of a squirrel in a forest, pushing a tiny shopping trolley, and a snippet of story:
The wizard sat up, took off his underpants, wiped the mud off his face, then popped his undies on his head.
"What?"
"Ummmm... " said the squirrel. "Are you okay?"
The wizard waved his wand again, and a miniature shopping cart appeared in the squirrel's hands, filled with miniature groceries.
"What the....!" squeaked the squirrel.

Consuming (lately): Movies: star was grogu - the kids liked it, supergirl / spider-man 👎 Books: never let me go 2/5, a court of thorns and roses 1/5, yesteryear 3/5 (it felt a bit like having to read an assignment?? not sure how to explain it)

screenshot from 'Eutow. Marpi x Archan' chrome experiment - fictional psychedelic scene, like a moment captured in time, you can navigate 360 degrees, with strange elements, textures, sculpture that looks like liquid mirror in the middle, giant with maybe a laser coming out of his hand, strange multicoloured fauna on the ground, giant glitchy hummingbird, all weird stuff
