If players have the escape valve of "retreat and recoup" they will tend to burn resources. There are, of course, games that make a very tight loop to avoid this. e.g. Torchbearer, which has such a tight loop that it's suffocating (by design).

Some quick thoughts on Minato in #DOA6LR as I finally tried her a bit: outside of the schoolgirl aspect, she's actually pretty unique visually. Definitely made more for newer players, but the Shuffle bit is interesting. In 7, I hope they make her moveset a bit more unique...

Played some of Duskbloods (missed the previous one), definitely unique and a lot of fun! Visually, it has a lot of Bloodborne for sure, but mechanically, it's more a weird mix of City Trial, Jedi Academy and Armored Core 6 (imo). With the usual From stuff behind obviously.
