I got fed up lumbering through spelling out my confirmation number over the phone and used the phonetic alphabet. it worked. but saying things like "papa x-ray victor" over the phone to a Southwest rep feels impossibly cringe 😔

I've started to feel the itch for a really fast bike after a summer with my new Cannondale. 11 speeds in Chicago is almost silly but it's athletic enough to give me a really good taste for speedy cycling even though I bought it as an all-arounder "athletic comfort." Zooming by the lake is so fun :3

#plants update: while I may have killed my gf’s venus fly trap…repotting her umbrella plant went very well! And after almost a decade I’m finally going to take good care of my snake plant 🐍 Removed all the stretched leaves, and put them in a fairly brighter spot (gotta wean them onto good light!)

Only thing I've got going for me was I was diagnosed with post-nasal drip on August 8th (had a sore throat), but no other issues between then and now 🤔 I just wanna figure out what to do about this. It's so frustrating

Rarely happens in the day. Seems unaffected by exercise. Covid negative, sudafed doesn't make a difference. Sinus /nasal rinse does nothing. I'm on the same allergy med I've been on all year. I'm completely at a loss. I feel otherwise completely healthy.

Since labor day now I've had a weird, unproductive dry cough that gets significantly worse at night. It doesn't hurt, it's just annoying and makes it hard to fall asleep. I'm feeling fine and then suddenly just have a inescapable urge to cough -- kinda like a tickle in the throat
