My next game is Atomfall! I’m 5 hours in and it’s such a blast. The customizable difficulty settings make this very accessible for everyone. I have the combat tuned down but the exploration set to Hard as not knowing where anything will take you makes it fun. Its also GORGEOUS! #Rebellion #Atomfall

Man what a game. 66 hours later, my journey to protect Thedas comes to an end. While not a perfect RPG, it was damn fun and so enthralling. If you haven’t already, give it a shot. Solid 8.5/10 #DragonAge #TheVeilguard #DAV

been away from BlueSky for a bit so here’s what I’ve been up to! - Got to 8/15ish in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Felt burnout coming on so haven’t touched in a bit. - Finished NieR Automata. Fantastic story. - Played Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. Vibes are immaculate - Started Dragon Age: The Veilguard

For the State of Play today, I’m expecting 20-25 minutes of smaller devs and AA games, then 1 3rd party exclusive, 1 Xbox game, and 1 first party reveal/deep dive. Which games/devs for the latter 3? No clue, but probably Indiana Jones, Lost Soul Aside, and Ghost of Yotei.

Post your favorite game from the Wii! Mine is definitely Kirby’s Epic Yarn. I remember seeing a commercial for this and BEGGING my mom for it. I loved every minute of this.

I finally find a job that I’m very qualified for and is tailored to those with minimal experience in the field. *Trump China tariffs* Company closes applications and lays off workers due to the expensive material costs they import from China.

Metaphor people… what archetype did you have Strohl as? Or which ones did you frequent for him? I’ve had him stationary as Brawler for a while but his utility there is slowing down (Brielhaven). My MC rotates between Magic Seeker/Cleric/Mage, Hulkenburg is Magic Knight, and Heismay is Assassin.

Spent an hour with Ninja Gaiden 2 Black earlier and absolutely got my ass kicked by the first boss. Was absolutely my fault as I only used the sword and didn’t experiment with the staff or combos at all. Will retry tomorrow after some research.

Game Review #4: Deliver us the Moon ✅ Beautiful environments ✅ Great storytelling method (seriously very well done) ✅ Fun puzzles that make you think ✅ Setup a sequel properly ❓Some big things are unanswered ❌ Some slight jank (expected for an indie of this style) ❌ Some minor pacing issues 8/10

Game Review #3: Life is Strange: True Colors ✅ Gorgeous setting ✅ GREAT characters ✅ Good plot twists ✅ A lot of character development ❌ Choices felt like they didn’t matter for anything ❌ Some iffy plot armor This is my 2nd favorite Life is Strange game. Loved the setting & characters 9/10 #LiS

Game Review #5: Life is Strange: Double Exposure ✅ Strong first 3.5 chapters ✅ Some good characters ✅ Good power for plot purposes ❌ Many plot details dropped & questions left ❌ Characters overly lustful ❌ Ending rushed & incomplete ❌ Awful writing for the last 1.5 chapters 5/10 glad I rented #LiS

It’s really unfortunate when you’re enjoying a game until you get a new area with REALLY annoying enemy types that hinder your progress and eventually make you nearly or fully lose interest in continuing the game. Cause what’s fun about retrying an area 35 times???

Game #2 2025 - #LifeIsStrange2 A good story based game with a heartwarming narrative and great choice options with many endings ✅ Pacing is great ✅ Another great soundtrack & world ✅ Cool power to use ❌ Daniel can get quite annoying ❌ Characters were hard to latch onto compared to LiS1 & BTS 7/10

2025 Game Review #1: Genesis Noir While this game has a wonderful art style and soundtrack, it lacks in narrative. You get the overall story of the game quickly but it just loses itself and drags for the last 2 hours. I was drawn in by the “try to stop the Big Bang” but quickly lost interest. 6/10

Started #LifeIsStrange2 earlier this week and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The characters are so likable and have so much depth to them.

I have a bad habit of starting a book, reading 50ish pages, then not picking it back up for a few weeks. Then once I pick it back up I get past the introduction and realize it’s really fucking good and then start to blaze through it. Exhibit A:
