A comic strip. Panels read left to right, then top to bottom.
PANEL 1: A newscaster sitting at his desk says, "Joining me now to discuss the latest mass shooting is Wonderella."
PANEL 2: Wonderella, a female superhero, sits in front of a checked background. A chyron at the bottom says "LIVE - Superhero Wonderella - Rap-battled Jesus once". She says, "Thanks, Aaron. I'm here to talk about the Some Asshole Initiative."
PANEL 3: Anchorman looks shocked, says "Wonderella, we're LIVE!"
PANEL 4: Wonderella shrugs, says "Bleep it if you gotta, Aaron."
PANEL 5: (W) "With shootings happening on the regular, we superheroes want to stop glorifying when some asshole kills a dozen people. Then it dawned on us: You call him Some Asshole."
PANEL 6: (W) "No name, no picture, no 44-Minute retrospective on his hometown. He's just 'Some Asshole'."
PANEL 7: (A) "You suggest we use this... pseudonym for the killer. For every killer."
PANEL 8: (W) " Just calling an asshole spade a spade."
PANEL 9:(W) "Whenever some Lee Harvey Jackoff murders a public school or church, you geniuses put his name in lights for two weeks. Instead of making dicksacks into anti-hero role models, you can show communities moving forward."
PANEL 10: (A) "But how else can we make people aware of his age, race or ethnicity?"
PANEL 11: (W) "That's the beauty part! It saves you the trouble of deciding for us whether he's a terrorist, a thug or a troubled loner. He's just... Some Asshole. and a guy, obviously. It's always a dude."
PANEL 12: (W offscreen, as an image of a bucket full of fish is shown) "As a matter of fact, this bucket of whale chum is a proposed solution to depict Some Asshole whenever a picture is needed."
PANEL 13: (W) "If we stop deliberately giving fame to the worst people on Earth, the outcome can only be good."
PANEL 14: A newspaper front page with the following text:

24-HOUR CABLE NEWS ENDING FOREVER
NEWSPAPERS STILL AROUND APPARENTLY
SOME ASSHOLE UP FOR PAROLE

and shows the bucket of fish.

A six panel cartoon. Top left, a man is looking at a screen that says “TONIGHT: METEOR SHOWER! ONLY HAPPENS ONCE EVERY 1000 YEARS!”
Top right, he goes outside and sees the sky obscured by clouds.
Center left, same guy, screen now says “TONIGHT: LUNAR ECLIPSE! ONLY ONCE IN OUR LIFETIMES!”
Center right, again he finds the sky obscured by clouds.
Bottom left, same guy, screen now says “TONIGHT: INCREDIBLY RARE CLOUDS! SEE ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME CLOUD FORMATIONS”
Bottom right, he goes outside, the sky is perfectly clear, stars shining brightly, and he says “Oh, for fuck’s sake.”

81 years ago, the last American combat death of WWII occurred, as a flight of B-32 Dominators on a photo reconnaissance mission over Japan to confirm the ceasefire agreement was attacked by 17 Japanese fighters. Sergeant Anthony Marchione, a photographer, was fatally wounded in the attack.
The Consolidated B-32 Dominator, successor to the B-24 Liberator and Consolidated's answer to the same USAAF requirement that produced the B-29 Superfortress. It is a four-engined bomber with a high, narrow wing, a stepped cockpit, and a tall tail fin. Consolidated had multiple problems with production and it only started being delivered in May 1945, by which time the war was nearly over. Only 118 ended up being built, and the last one was scrapped in 1949.
