The Hepatitis B vaccine, given at birth, is done so for a very clear medical reason: to protect babies from exposure to a virus that can cause devastating chronic liver disease. Screening first was tried years ago and didn’t work - it’s why we vaccinate, so we don’t miss anyone.

1/My daughter goes to a DC public charter school. Every child in my neighborhood of public servants and academics goes to DCPS. If this 20%, 1bil cut to DCs budget passed the senate (WHICH IS 75% FUNDED BY DC TAX DOLLARS) passes the Senate, our schools, sanitation, clean water will be decimated

I watched a video today by Sec #DougCollins about the #VAcuts planned. From a quick search there is evidence that the #VA is doing better than 2019. Veterans are 6% of the adult population but 30% of the federal workforce (they get preference in hiring). Which means Trump and Musk are already firing thousands of people who put their lives at risk for their country, many with disabilities they acquired in their service.
