Been building an iOS app on and off for a couple months. Just found an Xcode MCP server built by Sentry that lets agents drive Xcode and run builds without it being open. Closest I’ve come to a real agent loop on iOS. github.com/getsentry/Xc...

Been writing to Claude like I'm asking a smart colleague for advice instead of issuing orders. Output got noticeably better. Also: "push back when I'm wrong" in custom instructions does more work than most prompt frameworks I've tried.

Yeah, I think once a company gets to that size, it's almost inevitable that it will lose the edge. They need someone like Satya to do to them what he did for Microsoft, in their own way. But yeah, I miss the old Apple, just as I miss the old Google.

That's true. I think Gen AI, in general, is not stable enough yet for a company like Apple that prioritizes safety and the "it just works" motto. Until hallucination is not a problem anymore, I think they should have been very conservative. On the other side, they would be left behind, so 🤷‍♂️
