But what makes this convention worth going are the fans. That's why we keep going and especially this year. Not to see the same panels. Not to queue for an autograph. We go to cosplay among like-minded people and be around others that love the franchise. That's how we share our love of Star Trek.

Wow. I'm so glad I read this. I didn't realize that I share a lot of the same feelings about this convention. And what makes it worse is the lack of Star Trek branding that is generally present due to the lack of licensing, but it's still the latest Star Trek convention gathering, consistently. 1/2
