For #VintageToyTuesday, my Playskool village playset from when I was very young. Note that I believed in safety first, adding some crosswalks and parking spaces.

Cloth bag to hold all the wood blocks and the cloth street layout for the Playskool Village playset, circa 1974.

Circa 1974 Playskool village playset street layout, with a central meeting area (a tiny green circle right in the middle), criss-crossing streets with green areas indicating where buildings can go, and railroad tracks along one edge of the playing surface, which was cloth.

Closeup of circa 1974 Playskool village playset, with a handful of blocks with windows and doors painted on them for buildings and colored roofs for on top, laid out on the cloth street layout playing area.

A wider and lower angle of the circa 1974 Playskool village playset, with a handful of blocks with windows and doors painted on them for buildings and colored roofs for on top, laid out on the cloth street layout playing area.

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward
