We discussed a new model of collaborative governance, the purpose and remit of the Council, the English dimension, and international examples of good intergovernmental relations. Yes! Until I found myself in this situation I really hadn’t known the scale of demands and how much this doesn’t fit with also having a full-time job and a family of my own. I wish there was more discussion about how woefully we are set up for an aging population.
