Found this tv guide interview with David Duchovny from filming for the X-Files season 4 while going through my old stuff. Interesting commentary from Gillian Anderson on his personality tossed in there!

I’ve enjoyed the Fail Better podcast interviews - DD has a gift for seeing and drawing out his guests. Though I’ve noticed a pattern of blurring “failure” with active harm/abuse. Struck me again in the new interview with Jaleel White, when Bill Cosby came up (~minute 50)

What's this? Just Mulder getting a little steak sauce off of Scully's cheek as they share a meal (on the FBI's dime of course) at Ruth's Chris. 🥰 Everyone go follow and commission @rosenkranz.bsky.social, they are an amazing artist and did such a good job with this. ☺️☺️☺️

Mulder and Scully sitting across from one another at a table in Ruth's Chris, a steak restaurant. Under the glow of low lighting, Mulder is wiping a small bit of sauce from Scully's face.

A shout out to the X-Files community here which is a point of light keeping me sane while in all other feeds my country fully descends into fascism. I like it here.

Me trying to draw Mulder and Scully ✍️

A three panel cartoon of a wheezing ghost like figure drawing two people kissing with the term OTP above it meaning one true pairing. In the last panel, the figure shoves the drawing into its mouth and gnaws on it.

The Well-Manicured Man is the last of the Badges (Pentacles) and wouldn’t you know it, he’s my King of Badges! I wanted a coal black suit and a withering stare, I’m pretty happy how it turned out! #occultsky #tarotsky #illustration #thexfiles

My illustration of the Well-Manicured Man from The X-Files. He’s sitting on a couch in a dark room with a cup of tea in his left hand.

A powerful message about what personality types we glorify through stories. Interesting that Mulder and Scully are classic good "guys", but still nuanced, dimensional, and interesting. Also…a new Vince Gilligan show with Rhea Shorn (Kim from Better Caul Saul) as a hero! Yes please!!

Don’t know how to resist? Find a local organization working on an issue you care about and ask if they need volunteers. It might be boring work. DO IT ANYWAY. Rosa Parks typed up notes for the NAACP. Do the unskilled work so the skilled workers don’t have to. Or if you don’t have time: money.

#xfiles25days Day 22 - fav revival episode Nothing Lasts Forever No contest for me (though the Darren Morgan ones are great). A good old fashioned grotesque and gory plot, plus healing and meaningful MSR. A beautiful penultimate episode.

Is there a fanfic where Scully talks to Mulder roughly in German and he talks to her smoothly in French (also are these the languages they know or did I completely invent this in my head?)
