So uh...some people might be aware of the fact that when they made a girl version of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, they just kinda had to pick from the dudes who were already there for the bachelors, none of them were designed with women in mind AND I FORGOT THE MANUAL JUST FUCKING SAYS THIS??

Photo of the manual for Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life. It reads "Ewww! None of these guys appeal to me. Can I be a single farming girl? (Answer) You can, but your game will end before chapter two. If you want to play through the other five chapters you'll need to lower your standards or ignore your husband.

YEAHH it's weird because even if i disliked it a lot i never broke a friendship over it 😭 thats why the witch hunts younger people do nowadays are so weird to me

010

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

I quit around ~13 because I realized I didn't want to devote myself to it anymore. Which is when i got the most against fictional nsfw funnily enough. I think it was tied to becoming more critical about Everything as a teen more than religious teachings. but im not sure lol

110

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

nowadays, idgaf about fanservice and consume NSFW fictional stuff freely/actively and dont care if anyone else does either. I don't practice any religion nowadays, though i wouldn't call myself an atheist either. I just treat my spirituality as a personal thing and don't tie it to any religion.

110

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

i got REALLY against it and found people that liked it weird and problematic (despite me loving sora no otoshimono and the rosario + vampire anime a few years before... which are FULL of fanservice LMAO). after i turned 18(?) i got over extreme black and white thinking

110

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

i cant even say *when* or what series made me get into it LOL i was 7 and talking about anime during school breaks. I always found fanservice weird but i grew up w the usual kids anime jokes that already are kinda sexual, so i saw it as part of the medium. then, as i got older (14 or 15),

110

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

i was raised VERY religious (Catholic, specifically of the schoenstatt movement) to the point where i was always praised as the Most Devout Child ever by people around me (particularly because i knew a lot of specific scriptures and prayers and stuff). I also have been watching anime my whole life -

im not even a dr glazer it has a lot of issues but by making a fangan you're still taking someone elses' work and working based off that yknow... which is a valid thing to do obviously. but idk...... weird vibes

020

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

sorry its just weird! its very strange to work on something based off another work solely because you think you can do better. i find it a very disrespectful(?) behavior towards the original work

120

pixie!!!! @clumsytrick.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

that fangan doc is crazy like i dont go here but why would you write a fanganronpa if you dont like anime, dont like reading and have so much strange contempt for the original work 💔
